Role Objectives
Opportunities exist in our Auckland and Wellington offices for experienced Leasing Negotiators to join our dynamic teams dealing in the leasing of commercial properties.
Accountabilities
  • Listing properties for lease and reporting to the Lessor on a regular basis both by telephone and in writing to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Targeting and responding to commercial office tenants who express interest or make an enquiry by firstly submitting details in writing/meeting them and then arranging physical inspections of the appropriate properties.
  • Negotiating Leases with prospective tenants on behalf of the Landlord
  • Attending marketing meetings with Landlords, organising advertising material such as signboards, press advertisements, brochures and internet listings etc.
  • Co-ordinating the marketing and leasing of certain specific projects.
  • Database maintenance of in-house property and client databases.
  • Regularly cold canvas prospective enquiries and listings by telephone/mail and reporting results.
  • To assist with new business development.
Required Qualifications
Experience in the commercial property industry or in a sales or leasing role would be an advantage. Equally important however is the right attitude, excellent communication skills and an ethical approach to work practices.
