Occupancy Rates are holding as renewed confidence hits the sector. The vacancy rate has held at just over 4% since mid-2009 in Auckland, which is comparably low with previous cycle downturns. In Wellington, the vacancy rate is also just above 4%. However this is a slightly stronger result that Auckland as the vacancy rate has decreased from 6% in mid-2009.
